When designing the kitchen, I had taken inspiration from the green Californian home's spiral staircase as well as the open plan. I first did a rough SketchUp model to then use as a tool when decided what angle I wanted to do for my visual.
When doing my visuals, I used a combination of photo bashing and illustrating on photoshop. I really liked the photo bashing but I fear the the illustrative aspect of this visual was less successful. It was also highlighted to me during the presentation that there was an architectural flaw with lack of support for the room upstairs through the window, as well as the sliding doors looking to modern. I intend to address these issues before the end of the year. I also need to add people!
