Dreamland Feedback

In conclusion, I absolutely loved this project as it really developed my skill set (in visuals particularly) as well as time management. Below is the feedback I received in the presentation for future reference:

Strengths:

• Great use of style experimentation in visuals

• Clear colour palette used throughout

• Successfully conveyed a cosy, atmospheric room set design in a 1960’s estate

• Strong variety of shots for the storyboard.

• Well-made model and video.

Improvements:

• Tech drawings: Add notes regarding colour and finishes. In the visual with the spider, you could add the child to show the scale of the spider.

• Storyboard: You could experiment with grey shading for a more dynamic feel.

• Bedroom visual: Consider adding more children’s toys in the foreground for interest and depth.
