When doing the real thing, and it was a lot better than the prototypes but there was still a bit of issue with peeling as some the aspects of the design appeared to be crumbling off but instead of seeing that is something that was damaging to the design, I instead decided to incorporate it within it so was almost like a crumbling effect like the rock have. This added more potential for detail with my design.
Another aspect I had wish I had done more testing was using the medium with coloured images because when doing it on my final design it did not pick up in the same way as it did with the black-and-white images as it changed some of the colours. I also would made all my images have the same background rather than having some with a white background and some with a beige background.
Instead of trying to do it all again I decided to just go with it and I tried to think of different ways that I could try and blend in the images with the white backgrounds with the images without. I decided to try tea staining as a way of doing that. But before incorporating this step I had to give the Polyfilla and printed images like a lot of time to dry because the 300 GSM card can only take certain amount of stress onto it before it will start to warp.
